X-ray
X-rays are a fast and very-low radiation dose imaging solution to primarily assess the bones.
CT
CT uses a revolving X-ray machine to take detailed pictures of the bones and joints and create 3D images.
MRI
MRI uses magnetic field (radiation-free) technology to generate exquisitely detailed anatomical images of bones, joints, and soft tissues to assist diagnosing diseases and injuries.
Body Composition/DEXA Scan
Body composition scans provides information about your bone density, body fat, and muscle mass using DEXA technology scan (Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry), which uses a very low dose of radiation.
Ultrasound
Our consultant musculoskeletal and sports radiologists use Ultrasound, with its high-frequency soundwave technology, to dynamically and interactively assess a full range of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries with incredible accuracy and precision.
Image-guided Treatments
Grosvenor Radiology offers a wide range of image-guided injection treatments, usually using either Ultrasound or CT guidance to ensure minimal discomfort and precise needle targeting for the best outcomes. These are skilfully performed by our expert consultant musculoskeletal and interventional radiologists and include:
- Steroid injections
- Hyaluronic Acid injections
- PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy
- Arthrosamid therapy
- Aspiration
- Hydrodilatation
- Barbotage
- High Volume Injection procedures
- Perineural injections
- Spinal injections (nerve roots, facet joints, sacroiliac joints, medial branch block, epidural)
Image-guided Biopsy
Grosvenor Radiology offers a highly specialised image-guided biopsy service, which permits minimally invasive sampling of abnormal bone and soft, usually using either Ultrasound or CT, which is then analysed in the laboratory.
