- Complex pelvic resections and reconstructions
- Use of biological reconstructions including vascularised bone graft
- Experienced in the computer assisted design and manufacture of custom implants including non-invasive growers
- Runs a multidisciplinary practice alongside plastic, vascular, general, thoracic and urology surgeons

RESEARCH, PUBLICATIONS, TEACHING
- Hel has published in peer review journals, is author of many book chapters and editor of “Operative Orthopaedics – The Stanmore Guide”.
- She sits on the executive committee of the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society as the education lead and is responsible for organising the oncology sessions for the British Orthopaedic Association.
- Hel is passionate about training future surgeons and coordinates the oncology FRCS teaching at RNOH as well as working closely with industry to run workshops for trainees from across the United Kingdom.
