Grosvenor’s Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist, Dr Rajat Chowdhury, was selected to join the World Health Organisation Tumour Board for his specialist expertise in radiological diagnosis and image-guided biopsy of bone and soft tissue tumours (sarcoma).
He was invited to join global experts at the International Meeting on Tumour Classification at WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer in Lyon (France), to discuss the increasingly multidisciplinary nature of cancer diagnosis, as well as the future requirements for its treatment. Dr Chowdhury will be contributing to the forthcoming 6th edition of the WHO Classification of Tumours.
